The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Movie Update
There were so many actresses and actors who are considered to play the lead characters, as Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist.
Carey Mulligan, Ellen Page, Kristen Stewart, Natalie Portman, Mia Wasikowska, Keira Knightley, Anne Hathaway, Olivia Thirlby, Emily Browning Eva Green, Scarlett Johansson, Sophie Lowe, Sarah Snook, Léa Seydoux, Emma Watson, Evan Rachel Wood, and Katie Jarvis were among the actresses considered for the lead role. But then, it is Rooney Mara won the coveted role of Lisbeth Salander. We remember Rooney Mara, just recently when she played as Erica Albright, the sole reason why Mark Zuckerberg was determined to create Facebook, in the movie, The Social Network.
Johnny Depp, Viggo Mortensen, Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Daniel Craig were considered for the lead male role. Daniel Craig originally turned down the role of Mikael Blomkvist due to possible conflicts with the next James Bond film Bond 23 (2012). After production of the film was suspended Craig's schedule freed up and retook the role.
I'm wondering on how they will make Rooney Mara's face as intimidating, punk-like and scary hacker.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Movie [English Version]
David Fincher is chosen to direct the upcoming drama thriller movie based on the novel of the same name by the late Swedish author/journalist Stieg Larsson. The film is starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara. Lisbeth Salander, previously, was played my Noomi Rapace. I'm wondering who'll be more effective to play as 'The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo'.
The cast also includes Stellan Skarsgard, Robin Wright, Max von Sydow, Christopher Plummer, Joely Richardson, Steven Berkoff, David Dencik, Alexandra Daddario, and Goran Visnjic. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo will be released by Sony Pictures on December 21, 2011.
I have the entire Millennium Trilogy -- and only this one that I've read. I think I need to gain more energy to be able to tolerate the morbidity of the story line.
